CassetteForum
K.J. Bleus has a couple
of forums dedicated to cassettes and cassette
recording. He is a cassette enthusiast and
audiophille just like I am and he is a really
nice person to boot. If you like to talk about
cassettes, and yet find no one you can talk to
about them, come on in! His forum is definitely
worth taking a look at.Wikipedia
Defintion of the Compact Cassette
This page is mainly a
brief description of what a Compact Cassette is
and how it works. Included is its uses and
features. Most pictures show include TDK
cassettes such as the MA-R and a late 70's D.
Since anyone can add to it (even if
you are not a member), if you feel that there is
something you would like to add, go ahead and add
to it. Expand the page even further if you want.
The Vintage Knob
This one is easily one
of my favorite sites. Definately for the true
audiophille, this site talks about more of the
higher end equipment from the companies most people
know like Pioneer and Sony, as well as even more
expensive models from the little more obscure
ones like Dual and Sansui.
The Vintage Knob has vivid pictures
from old magazine ads and brochures as well as
specs and funfacts in a very well planned out,
colorful site. Go ahead, give it a go, but I'm
willing to bet you'll be there for a while.
TapeHeads
A good site that
incorporated a forum type atmosphere associated
with not just cassette enthusiansts, but stereo
system fans, such as turntables, tape decks and
the such. Also, there are many reviews on
cassettes, some are linked from my reviews page,
as well as other things. This is a great place to
talk to other people about your love for such. Go
on and join. |

DoujinStyle
This is a great site if
you are a fan of anime, video games, fan made
stuff related to such and especially Touhou
Project.
It's a great community of people,
mainly aged 15 to 30, and it's game selection is
extensive. This includes every Touhou game
released.
So, if you are a fan of such things,
check them out. It's easy to make friends there.
Oh, and if you stumble upon "The Mental
Shift," be afraid.......very afraid. Don't
say I didn't warn you. |
