1988-1989 Model

Meaning: UX-S: Uniaxial Super(???) Bias: High (Type II) Description/History:   The UX-S was a tape that only slightly exceeded the UX as far as archiving is involved. It was almost no different than that of the UX. Also was part of the UCX/UCX-S replacement. This tape is a mid-range, with the UX-ES/UX-Pro above it. UX-S was discontinued somewhere in the early to mid 90's in the US. European and other foriegn models continued on for a number of years.
